Wynona Higginbotham

Wynona Tucker Higginbotham, 98, of Paducah, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 12:05 AM.

Wynona, AKA “Higgie” in the medical field retired as a Nurse at age 81 from Superior Care Home. She was an Honorable Kentucky Colonel and a Duchess of Paducah and longtime member of Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Vanessa Collins of Paducah and Malessa Taylor of Louisville, KY; one grandson, J.T. Tucker of Paducah; two great granddaughters; one great great granddaughter; three nieces; three nephews; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley (Bill) Higginbotham; two daughters, Nancy D. Tucker and Beverly Clark; one step-son, Daniel Higginbotham; her parents, T.D. Tucker Sr. and Rosa Lee Tucker; two brothers; two sisters.

There will be no viewing, visitation or services of any kind held.
