William L. "Bill" Noles, age 71, of Paducah passed away April 17, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Noles was a native of Paducah. He worked as a brakeman and conductor for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for 18 and a half years. He was a member of the T.C.T. Union.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Joann Adams Noles; one son, Michael Noles of Paducah; two sisters, Joy Ruth Foster of Paducah and Phyllis June Dunn of Benton; and one granddaughter, Stacey Proper of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Ray Noles; one sister, Eva Jane Gass; and a brother, Bobby Joe Noles. His parents were Cager Leslie Noles and Joy Elizabeth Greer Noles.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Encil Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008.
Family requests memorials to be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
