Verda Sue (Ford) Raney, age 82, died on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Mercy Health/Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Joe Ford of Hickory, Tim (Melisa) Raney of Folsomdale and Jeff (Jill) Raney of Ledbetter, KY.; a step-daughter, Pat Barnes as well as her grandchildren, Kenny Ford, Andy Ford, Brittany Elliott, Justin Raney, Alexa Raney, Jessica Williams, Alex Raney and Jaden Raney; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P Raney; her parents, Robert D Ford and Ola K (Garland) Ford; brothers, Leo F Ford, Norman (Pickle) Ford and an unnamed infant brother; and two stepchildren, Michael Raney and Judy Wynn
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with a Funeral Service immediately following. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans at the Miles Meredith #7 Chapter , 1133 Murray St, Paducah, KY. 42003
