Raymond Jewell Elder, 82, of Paducah died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Elder was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Elder; one son, Johnny Michael Elder of Paducah; one daughter, Glenda Sue Newton of Paducah; two sisters, Pauline Johnson of Symsonia and Patsy A. Meyer of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Jane Elder; three brothers; and one infant sister. His parents were James C. and Mary R. Elder.
A private graveside service will be held today at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah
