John D. Abanatha, 41, of Paducah died at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Abanatha was an automotive mechanic and member of the Sons of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Abanatha of Paducah; his grandparents, Arthur and Nella Mae Litchfield of Paducah; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Newman Abanatha.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Russell officiating.
There will be no visitation. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
