Gary Stratton

Don Stratton, 74, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:40 A.M. Friday, May 3, 2019 at Stonecreek Health & Rehabilitation of Paducah.

Don was born in St. Charles, Missouri on August 8, 1944 to Charles “Red” and Sible Stratton. He was a man who enjoyed life and was happy to include others in that joy. He worked for engineering firms, was a realtor and salesman, wrote country music songs, and was an ice cream aficionado. He will be lovingly remembered as a truly unique individual.

Mr. Stratton is survived by his daughters, Jene’ Stratton Evans, of Louisville, Kentucky and Ladona Alexander (Brad), of Paducah; his brother, Larry Dale Stratton (Jackie), of Evansville, Indiana; his sister, Wanda Gail Harpole (Larry), of Paducah; his grandchildren, Victoria Little, Edie Brooke Little, Cooper Evans, Davis Evans; his step-grandson, Bradford Alexander; his niece, Missy Harpole; his nephew, Wesley Stratton.

Mr. Stratton was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Albert Stratton and Sible Inez Cooper Stratton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Don Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
