annie Ella Cole, age 72 of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, 12:20 a.m. at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, GA.
She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the First Aide Caregivers, Music Department, Women’s Ministry, Deaconess and the Missionary Society. She received an Associate Degree from West Kentucky State Vocational School and was licensed as an LPN. She retired from the Department of Children Services for the State of Kentucky as a social worker. Fannie was a faithful and loving member of Civic Mu-So-Lit Organization, and a recipient of the NAACP Rosa Parks "Power of One" award.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Bass and Georgia Bard Bass and two sisters, Joyce Wells and Eula Keys.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Calvin R. Cole, Sr.; two sons, Calvin Cole, Jr. and Chris Cole, all of Paducah; two grandchildren, Natauzzia Cole of Paducah and Jazzdon Cole of Merced, CA; three great- grand-children, Nikeal Cole, Nevaeh Cole and Jamori Cole all of Paducah; two brother-in-laws, Reverend James (Beverly) Cole and Larry (Joyce) Cole both of Morganfield, KY; four sister-in-laws, Minister Marie (Reverend Barry) Washington of Louisville, KY; Marie Garnett, Sandra Catlett and Becky Maxey all of Morganfield, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 22, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Ronnie White and Evangelist Melanie Nunn officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
