Barbara Suzette Meyer passed away at 12:10 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2007, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple.
She leaves behind her husband, William "Billy" Meyer; four daughters, Barbara Brown and husband, Jason, of Marion, Ill., Brandi Harris of Paducah, and Kimberly Meyer and Renee Meyer, both of Metropolis, Ill.; one son, Brian Proctor and wife, Angela, of Metropolis; two brothers, Tim Thompson and Jimmy Thompson, both of Paducah; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thompson and Jeanelle "Noonie" Gates Thompson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Harold Council and Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2007, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lourdes Hospice, 2855 Jackson St., Paducah, KY 42001; or The Dream Factory, P.O. Box 2333, Paducah, KY 42002-2333.
