Barbara Cannon

Barbara Cannon, 77, of Paducah passed away at 12:03 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital.

Along with her husband, Carl Wayne Cannon, she owned Paducah Variety Store until retirement.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by two daughters, Dorinda Green and husband Kenneth of Reidland and Darla Eberhardt of Reidland; one son, Keith Wayne Cannon and wife Laura of Paducah; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Downey and husband Johnie of Nixa, Mo., and Julia Davis and husband Dean of Del Rio, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Cannon; a sister, Pauline Reed; and a brother, Jewel Duncan. Her parents were Gip and Bessie Johnson Duncan.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Sky McCracken officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, January 18, 2011, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
